... 1,411 Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 Just seen a request from former pupils requesting that a road be named after him on the former school site,report post 2013,I only went to seniors but met mr smith when we did a meadows clear up ,cleari.g rubbish from entries in the back to back meadows mr smith and albert whitehead turned up every saturday morning along with a bin wagon to try and put a pride back into the meadows. Does anyone know if a road was named after him,I think he deserved it any one that gives their spare time to a community the served deserves respect. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
