TBI 2,351
That picture brings back memories, I'd go in there sometimes with my Gran when I was small. I remember that's where she used to buy stuff to black the huge range in her kitchen. She lived just round the corner in Clyde Street. I used to like to go shopping with her, she always bought me a new Matchbox car from the newsagents across the road. Happy times!
EileenH 496
I remember shopping at Simmons on Wilford Road with my mam. They sold all kinds of pots - even chamber pots!

Some times when people came in for guzunders/Poes they would ask him what size they were, his reply was you can come to the back of the counter and try it on for size.
