FLY2 10,108
I wore jeans for the first time in ages today, and thought my wallet felt thick in my back pocket. I've had a clear out, and this is what I found. A fiver, Costa loyalty card, Paradise Cafe Arnold, three loyalty cards, Wellingtons Cafe loyalty card, B&Q Over 60's card, Cafe Bridgford loyalty card, three lottery tickets, three Tesco receipts, Mrs B's Cafe loyalty card, a bit of paper with phone numbers on it, AA Silver Membership card, National Trust card, Waterstones loyalty card, two debit cards, bus pass, two 2nd class stamps, Tesco club card, Nectar card, Hollybeck Nurseries loyalty card, Collins trade card, Iceland bonus card, driving licence, more bits of paper with phone nos on. God, I'm like a bloody squirrel with all this crap !!!!
Ayupmeducks 1,730
When I wear jeans, I ALWAYS put my wallet in a front pocket, if I have to fight to get it out....errr the wallet that is... then it's harder for a pickpocket. Drivers license, green card, credit card, safety pin, few bank notes...Not much else, just like my key ring, just the essentials.

TBI 2,351
I tend to travel light, I've only got a Santander 123 credit card which I use for nearly all my purchases, driving license, library card, a migraine tablet and about sixty quid. I never keep my wallet in my back pocket either.

katyjay 5,085
Loppylugs and ayupmeducks, I never carried my green card with me. I never had to show it apart from when I renewed it. It was always kept in the safe. Our daughter mislaid hers last year, what a palaver and great expense to replace it.
Ayupmeducks 1,730
You did realize it's mandatory to carry it at all times when you leave the house. I would imagine it is a pain getting a lost one replaced, dealing with government bureaucracy's is always a pain and costs money.
loppylugs 8,424
Yes, John is right. With all the instructions that came with mine it said you had to carry it at all times. Got it renewed last time without too much beaurocracy.
