Compo 10,326
Here's an interesting road sign that I spotted in Reay on the north coast of Caithness on Monday. Anyone found any more odd signs?
Merthyr Imp 729
I never saw one of these, but sometimes wonder if they might make a comeback:- http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-historic-tram-pinch-road-sign-warning-other-road-users-that-the-tram-57286811.html
Compo 10,326
I haven't seen a Tram Pinch sign either. I suppose they were on tight corners?
Merthyr Imp 729
I think they were wherever the tramlines veered in towards the kerb, possible due to the lines being laid in the days before increased road traffic meant this could become a problem. I imagine modern day tramlines are aligned from the start in such a way that the problem doesn't arise.

BulwellBrian 107
The Grimsby to Immingham tramway had tram pinch signs on the road into Grimsby, this was were the single track had passing loops.
