I have had a bash at growing Cucamelons this year. Alas, the poor weather has meant that I have had no fruits. My sister has fared rather better, she being on the South Devon coast. However, I have now learnt that if I lift and store the roots frost free they will regrow next season - so all may not yet be lost :)

I grew some three years ago in the greenhouse took me until this year to get rid of them, loads of fruits on the vines but they kept shooting up out of the compost and using the other plants like a climbing frame, won't be growing any of those again
