I'm a happy Bunny tonight Went for my oncology visit after I had the P.E.T. scan and T.A.C. a couple of weeks ago and all is clear after the scare I had. The next process is due in 6 months after I ha

Thanks for all the good wishes, you really are a grand lot, but that goes without saying because that's what Nottstalgians are all about int`it!

Pleased to say that the op has gone really well as hoped so fingers crossed that her recovery goes just as well.

This is not my pain but my daughters, a childs pain is a mothers.  Her leg was amputated above the knee last December 21st due to a long time knee problem,  We were at the limb center today and they told her that as she didn't want a prosthetic fitted she was not entitled to any further help, nor is she  entitled to a compression sock which is needed to shrink her limb.  I made my feeling clear that it is her choice at this time not to have a prosthetic maybe at a later date, fine they said come back then and she will get help.  NHS only there if you do what they want, how I kept opinions to myself I will never know.
