Bubblewrap 3,815
RIP Dale This year is setting a worrying trend there have been other lesser known musicians of the same peer group who have passed this year. And the year is only 19 days old Worried ? I'm 67 a fortnight on Sunday BUT there again I'm not a musician
BeestonMick 263
As they say, the older you get the fewer christenings and more funerals you attend. Blimey, I'm a musician too!
Chulla 4,946
You will be, BW, when you die. You will be a harpist. (Don't tell me, you've been pissed before).

mick2me 3,033
Another Gone! RIP Great Version. 1974 But I prefered Leon Russel's version played by DJ Petal at The UNION, and that would have been 1971?

barclaycon 569
I met Dale Griffin a few times. He was a producer at Radio 1 when he left Mott the Hoople. It was shame that he wasn't well enough to play the whole of the reunion concerts in 2009 (he was replaced by Martin Chambers) though he did play the encores. Mott were an underrated band I think. R.I.P. Dale
