The Greek beginning

I wondered if anyone might be familiar with a possible Greek man who was living and working in some type of catering business, such as a cafe, restaurant or chip shop in 1950. I suspect he would have been known locally and as there was limited family Greek restaurants owned at this time. He might have left the area soon after the 50's or a possible death in his young age of 25-35 perhaps. I know it's a long shot but I have no other information about him but hoping someone might have a memory that I can search on.
