RichHutchings⭐ 0
Hi, Would anyone happen to know where to find information or archives for the Nottingham ARP? My grandad and great uncle were in the ARP in something called 'Casualty Services' - which was the grim task of recovering bodies buried in rubble. It'd be nice to know if they have some sort of service record. Many thanks.
Cliff Ton 10,458
If you haven't already asked them, the most likely places to have the information are these two. http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/culture-leisure/archives/visiting-archives http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/libraries/local-studies-and-family-history/local-studies-resources/

DAVIDW 1,681
There are about 50 stories in the Newspaper archives for Nottingham about casualty services and ARP . Mostly the articles are about difficulties recruiting and then training exercises , which won't help with individuals records . This link if it works may give a brief description of articles ( if it works) but you will have to pay to view full article . http://search.findmypast.co.uk/search/british-newspapers?county=nottinghamshireutf002c%20england&firstname=casualty%20services&keywords=arp
