My sister lived on Bell Street, a few houses along from Orange Street on the right.. 2 up 2 down with a scullery on the back IIRC, suffered from damp but rent was cheap..

My maternal grandmother was born in Preston Terrace, off Bunbury Street, in 1889. Many years ago, I went to look where it was but it was already long gone.

My grandfather lived  at number 5, Bell St. for many years.   His mother lived with him and she died there in 1964 aged  94.  She was a Blower by birth, from Radford.  Grandad moved to Whittier Road at Colwick when they knocked the Meadows down.
