Catchems corner about 10 minutes walk from where I live not been in yet
No real ale :(

Not been in since the 80's Andy...is it clean & tidy?

You'd think at this stage pubs would put on a real ale as well as all the others.Catchems had a good arrers' team one time.

Forgotton where Catchems name originated...was it a Tram terminus?

Formally The Station Hotel it is next to where Basford North station was.
Renamed apparently after people having to run to catch a train

Basford North(Ex Great Northern) was originally Basford & Bulwell  also in the area:
Basford Vernon (Midland )
New Basford(Great Central)
Bulwell Market(Midland )
Bulwell Common(Great Central)
Bulwell Forest(Great Northern)
There was also three stations at Hucknall

Park Lane bridge(can be seen under the footbridge)is still there :P

Right!...thanks Andy-i have it located now. When i used to go to Atlas Spares...the railway had long gone.

Standard of England must have been handy for the thirsy traveller.

Shame these little stations have gone.

Be a godsend for our services now.

Nearest pub to North's entrance was Catchems  there was no entrance for the station

on Park Lane

Yep!..Don't say that's gone!

I know The Golden Ball has..and the awful Goosefair.. what a chav hive that was.

Though nearby Marble Arch i kissed a few goodnight.
