Hi Wayne, yes I've attended many a gala there and the place was base for our Club (see my avatar) for many a year.

 

Good memories of walking from Hyson Green to Beechdale to swim there when it was first built in the very early 70's. I always thought it was a very ugly building though on the outside.

Welcome Zomorrodatesh I remember your Dad Mr Brooks at Beachdale baths when we'd "Got Swimming" we all got on a big double decker from Glenbrook & in summer walked, Can you remember Pete who worked there? He swam the English channel.

 

No Petting No Bombing No Diving No Ball Games No swimming baths!

The "Falcon's used to swim at Hucknall baths and did most of their training at Nole st both my son's and grandsons swam for them Mr Crisp was their teacher at Nole St.

Congratulations for being in the county squad it take's a lot of time/effect and dedication .
