LizzieM 9,497
I can see the weather was grim but everyone looks so unhappy. Those mid 60s years were fun for me as a teenager, just managing to fit in school and homework with going down the Bowling Alley, Dungeon etc.
FLY2 10,108
I assume it's only the weather that is making everyone look so glum and down in the dumps, as I found that era absolutely marvellous. However, Slab Square is as it should still be, with people chatting and relaxing. Proper busses, not the kaleidoscopic multiple colours of today. No Jap cars, all are British made. Few pedestrian operated zebra crossings. The Pigalle Club, Drury Hill, pre that abomination called the Broad marsh Centre. A great little snippet.
plantfit 7,535
Does anyone watch the Nottingham "trams, trains and buses" video's on youtube, there's quite a few and they bring back plenty of memories, especially the tram rides from Nottingham city center to Hucknall Rog
