Danum 1
It looks like the micro-climate in my back garden in Doncaster is good for allowing geraniums to survive outside over the winter. I've just been placing the tubs out onto the patio from their more sheltered locations up against a west facing wall. I had a few blooms right up until the end of January and now my first flower of the new season has appeared. I wonder how everyone else's geraniums are getting on? Compo 10,328
I have to bring mine in for winter. Here in the far north of Scotland, the climate is somewhat unkind to tender plants! You must be very lucky to have such a micro-climate that allows yours to be overwintered outdoors Danum.
nonnaB 4,895
I bought them every year. Only tried bringing them in one winter but they didnt recover. Now I buy Surfinias. In fact Ive just finished potting them all in tubs.
