As regards apostrophes, it drives me potty when they appear in the wrong place. I suppose I have a bee in my bonnet about them. So many people don't seem to understand how to use them!

Strange language we have,That idiot James Corden has just been on some telly advert driving an old Merc spinning round until the car slots into a parking space and he say's "that why they call me the parking MARSTER" what the hell is a marster and why does he have to add the letter "R" in the middle of Master,I do wish it would stop raining then I could go out and not worry about all these important problems we face

Deplorable Compo ! Poor education, such as too much insistence on 'self expression', Humanities, and other Mickey Mouse subjects !

Humanities in secondary school is History, Geography and RE!    I don't think they are Mickey Mouse subjects...

What's wrong with calling them History, Geography and RE then. A fancy name to attract the impressionable.
