Sir Roger Moore R.I.P

So sad. A fine and often underrated actor who will be very sadly missed.

My favourite Bond actor without a shadow of a doubt !

"Nobody lives forever, Mr Bond". Presumably his funeral will be at Bramcote crem, near where he lived. Hippo will see him off.

Well my, my. I wondered how long it'd be before someone regurgitated this. I wasn't disappointed !

There was always a comical and tongue in cheek side to his acting, which was very amusing.

The good thing was, he never took himself too seriously. Most actors think that they are the be all and end all, when in fact, they definitely aren't.

I remember first seeing him in Ivanhoe and then The Saint.

Despite all his film roles his lasting legacy should be his work for UNICEF

Those early series kept a lot of small time actors in work...remember Sam Kydd?...Peter Sallis was always the hotel clerk, and John le Mesurier the bank manager.
