philmayfield 6,130
Morrisons have just introduced a foot long sausage roll in local stores now for £1 until Aug 14th. and thereafter £1.43. Who's going to be the first on here to eat a whole one and give it a review?

TBI 2,351
Not for me with my digestion.. If I ate that I'd probably feel like Cool Hand Luke, when he'd finished all those eggs!

Jill Sparrow 10,305
Wouldn't suit me, I'm a vegetarian but Morrison's do very tasty cheese & onion rolls. In fact I have to be kept away from their bakery counter!
NewBasfordlad 3,599
I'm a cheese and onion fan too, well matured cheddar and red onion fresh from the garden.

catfan 14,793
Mrs C is a veggie too, more sausage roll for me then !!
FLY2 10,108
Hang on, does anyone SERIOUSLY believe that there's any REAL meat in it ?
philmayfield 6,130
Someone told me that when they had a tour of the Pork Farms factory many years ago they just stuffed a whole pig carcass into one one end of the machine and the "meat" for the pies and sausages came out the other. I believe that sausages can have a permitted amount of non meat additives. If you saw how stuff was produced you wouldn't eat it!
FLY2 10,108
Precisely Phil. However, on a cold dull day such as it is at the moment, I bet one tastes lovely microwaved and with HP sauce drizzled on top ! Yummy !
loppylugs 8,429
And that's not to mention all the other chemical junk that is added to it. I was looking at some spicy sausage at the store the other day. I like that stuff. Should say liked. I read the label and put it back. I couldn't even pronounce most of it. Yuk! philmayfield 6,130
It doesn't happy very often but if I'm on a long car journey there's nothing better than a Big Mac and a coffee - yummy! Otherwise it's just boring old gourmet food day after day.
