I have just watched a video on youtube titled "How to make the points and railway junctions" I think it was an LMS promotional film from the 1930's,in one scene there is a loco in the loading yard with the name "Tailor.Bros. (Sandiacre) LTD wrote on the side, has anyone heard of this company, the loading yard was where the line junctions were assembled, marked up and disassembled ready to be loaded and taken to where they were needed

My late father was the senior foundry foreman there “back in the day”

Taylor Brothers ceased to exist in circa 1975 following their acquisition by Rio Tinto Zinc (RTZ)

It is now part of the Balfour Beatty Group, still operating on their original site in Sandiacre.
