A recent birthday present here, seems a bit cheeky using a similar name to Shippo's !

Those cheeky krauts at Aldi will try owt ! will let you know later what it tastes like.

DON'T BOTHER YOUTH, keep yer money in yer pocket !

Supping my second can at the moment & have to say it;s bleddy god awful it is. Might use it to bleach the carsey !

No wonder Aldi are knocking the stuff out so cheap.

Truly awful stuff, an insult to call beer.

A salute to a man i admire greatly..seen here on his familiar stead on Foreman Street.Reg Baker took so many great photographs of Nottm in his lifetime.Mostly recognisable by the bike he leaves in the photo.382095_507135045977116_34833978_n.jpgRumour has it he pinched a brick from every demolition he photographed.

Sadly Reg passed a good few years ago..but lives on in film/ print.

Great photo,  a social history of the times, I am trying to make out what the ads are.

From left to right

1 Don't know?

2 Job advert for a hosiery/clothing company?

3 Osram light bulbs

4 A brand of ice cream that I have never heard of

5 OXO of course

6 Immunisation poster

7 Lifeguard hand cleanser

The one on the left looks like a breakfast cereal packet perhaps but I can't make out the lettering, Pearce`s ice cream has been mentioned a few days ago on here.
