We discussed somewhere the Queen giving gongs to the great and the good.

At 55 yrs and counting, trogg you should have one as big as a dustbin lid for services and undying devotion to  Aqua-thermal treatment on ceramics, aluminium and steel under a constrained environment.

Hi Barry. Cold wet and miserable here today. 13C compared with 33C. Just been over to the greenhouses and not much watering was needed. I will have my first cucumber of the season ready by Monday though and the Bramley Apple trees are absolutely laden with fruit this year.

Hi Barry.

Barrie, not Y. Weather has turned the same down here Phil. Wind has got up and it's gone very cold, looks like rain is on it's way.

Likewise with the Bramley tree, the one in our  communal garden is full of conker size apples. I love it when we have pork and I can walk over and pull a couple of apples, then wash and core them, zap in the micro and 'Hey Presto' instant apple sauce.
