My lad once bought a baseball cap with a peak on either side. It had a caption saying, " I'm their leader, which way did they go?"

Those with peaks at the back can be bought on Bulwell Market.

I give Nulwell a miss these days since we were evicted nearly two years ago.

I have a 'Guinness' Baseball Cap.  I also have a rusty red one..and a denim one. I rarely wear any of them.  They're only of any use to keep sun off the top of your head and shade your eyes a bit.. for which or course you need Sun.  Not a major problem in the UK these days. A wooly hat is far more use.

I do however have another one which is rather nice.. It has a fold out section which extends its coverage over the ears a bit.  It's made of rather nice woollen fabric.and has a peak made allegedly of reindeer hide.  It was given to Mrs Col by  student from Finnish Forestry Company or somewhere when she was teaching English to foreign business types.

This morning we went into Asti to the big market they have twice a week. Its ages and ages since I went. We went for veg to preserve for winter. I was surprised at the prices of everything. They were so cheap and the atmosphere was lovely stall holders shouting their wares and if we looked at something more than a couple of seconds we were offered bag to put our goods in. The weather was very sunny and warm which made me remember years ago visiting my inlaws for holidays. I felt as though I was on holiday, it was a much needed change of scene. Already started on veg preservation, a mix of aubergines, red and green peppers and red onions in a sweet and sour sauce. Another busy day tomorrow with the rest of the veg. Well it keeps me out of mischief.

As soon as everyone has bought lots of pairs of skinny jeans, then the designers will decide to change the fashion to a different style, so they can sell some new ones which will be ‘the latest fashion’ (and the sheep will all obey and buy them.....)

Went to QMC today (not a telephone app) for about 2 year's I have had telephone appointments for my PD. A letter arived last week with date time and would like to see you (underlined) but last night recived text saying it was going to be a telephone call. First thing this morning phoned appointments, they confirmed I was to be seen. Being out in the sticks, parking at tram stop, getting on tram, changing from one tram to the other which goes to QMC,  arrived 20min before app, the receptionist ask us to walk around for 10mins then come back. Arrived back for app time, only for nurse's to tell us PD Doctors and PD nurse's were half a hour behind for app. Finaly went in to see doc told her about text "OH! have they not stopped doing that we have told them" say no more. After consultation Doc changed my med's PX  would you like me to send it to your GP or do you want me to print it, I chose 2nd one as I knew QMC has it's chemist. Took PX to QMC chemist  filled in what was needed, then sat down o wait an wait & wait.  Chemist girl came over to see me Sorry but your px will not be ready for about 1-2 hours,  sensible receptionist ask us if we would like it to be deliverd to-morrow. at last a normal person. Yes please!!   with that we came home at sat in a darken room for 2-3-4-5 hours to chill.

Not sure it works like that Margie. For a start. my daughter Stef spends lots of time working on 'trends'...trying to second guess what is happening....and trending.... And secondly... nobody is forced to follow 'fashion'.  Yep.. most people 'fall in' with general trends.. but most people will also consider their own shape before forcing themselves into 'skinny jeans'.

I..of course.. look fabulous in anything... including a whole reindeer for a hat.... ;)
