Norman the hedgehog, shortly before his death yesterday. We found him lying on the front lawn, very cold and listless. We tried to warm him up and revive him but alas, it was not to be.

I can't 'like' the death of a hedgehog and for some weird reason it has quite upset me... poor old Norman.

He was too close to death to do anything for him, Brew. Had we found him sooner....who knows?

Know how you feel Brew, it's 29years today that my eldest son passed away in my arms, at Pembury hospital, Kent. He was 23 years old.

How awful beekay, and you and your wife went through that twice. Doesn't bear thinking about.

So much sadness for you both Beekay, I can’t begin to imagine how you have coped.  Our youngest son was involved in an horrendous car crash 23 years ago when he was just 17.  Thankfully he survived but I think about that terrible night of worry frequently.  Thinking of you on this anniversary.
