I would love to attend a meet up but I am grossly disfigured and only have one leg. This makes it extremely difficult for me to socialise. Please don’t feel sorry for me.

I understand what you're saying Trogg.... our 3 children are 51, 49 and 47 respectively and our eldest grandson is almost 21.

At the other end of the scale I have a good friend who is only 47, yet has grandchildren aged 11 and 5!!  She could well be a great-grandma by the time she's 60.....

Age is just an irrelevant number, my body feels like a 90 year old with new bits added that don't work well, but I am still told to grow up. Having children young has many advantages ,you grow up with them, I used to go out with the youngest for a drink and tried to convince others we were brothers, often we would arrive home still laughing to sit through a lecture from the wife on responsibilities. The F in L couldn't believe his luck when the eldest was in the sixth form they used to go on a Thursday evening to play snooker together and then for a couple of drinks, I wasn't supposed to know about it but thought it hilarious seeing them sneak off. Also you get to see your grandchildren mature, one of my favourite memories is seeing grandson flying solo on his 16 birthday and on his 17th getting his pilots licence. Two weeks later being taken for a flight by him, was I worried, you bet I was when he sat there telling me what was going to happen if the engine failed. Yes the years go by very fast ,but what you fill them with is the most important thing. As for great grand kids if that happens great all part of life.

Received an email from the vets this morning to take Monty for a free health check as they had not seen him for a while, considering they euthanised him more than 18 months ago I thought was a bit insensitive.

Muppets !

Same thing happened to me when when my cat Spock passed on. Vet's excuse was that immunisation reminders and suchlike are sent out by a completely different company.  It didnt happen again!

The lovely Monty looks very much like my little ginger puss, Bruno!

Always somebody else's fault innit?  That's one of the things that gets to me these days. Few there are who will just say Ooops!  I'm sorry.  It won't happen again.  It's always, our advertising agency, our accountants, our floor sweeper, never ME.

Second moan of the day.

Just returned from a few days in Llandudno in north wales. Very enjoyable time in one of Mrs Cs favourite destinations outside Liverpool. All 16 passengers had a good time with us being the youngest again, one old dear was 92 years of age  !

As we know photobucket has gone down the charging route and some great photos from the pages on this site  have all but gone. Use these instructions below and trust me it works. I can see all the photobucket photos on here again. Its from Google and is free.

If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the top right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again, if not right click & left click "View Image" if still no picture, left click to return to previous page & if you've been a good Christian today then you will see the missing pictures !

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket Fixer " and click install. Same result.

Just tried this & it works beautifully, see all those missing pictures again.

Hope this helps.

Here is a before & after demo, I delved in to the long forgotten pages on NS & found Photobucket pictures unavailable, tried the new Firefox extension & here is the result.

I find that it is important to go back a page then be able to view the missing pictures / s .

Have fun seeing all those missing pictures again.

When right clicking to view image it will say unknown errors unable to display etc. Left click your back page button & the jobs a gud 'un works flawlessly, just getting the hang of it !

If you come across this icon then this usually means the picture has been removed from PB & can't be recovered, because it's not there !!
