benjamin1945 16,118 Posted September 18, 2017 Report Share Posted September 18, 2017 What is it with Nottingham.............we use the word 'Nob' quite regular.................Reckitts blue........was a Nob of blue.........Brussels we called 'Nobs'.........and we always had a 'nob of butter'...............then there were 'Door Nobs'.(probably not just notts)......and posh folk are still 'Nobs'........and popular today is the phrase'Nob Heads'............youre most likely thinking......'What a Nob'..............lol.
