Willow wilson 891
In 1959 a group of us from Ellis spent a some time scene shifting in Co Op Arts for the production "A Place Called Paradise". A teddy boy version of West Side Story. My brother was in a FFGS production of Mikado there. Everything smoothly and professionally done. It seems like the Cooperative Arts centre served us well in those days. 2

Willow wilson 891
Yes loppy. Near forest rd, at the top on the town side. The official pub crawls start there and then its downhill from there on. Not my thing though. Edited

I used to take our children to a 'pram service' at a local Anglican Church when they were very small and they learnt to sing this, but I will always remember one of them getting the words wrong by singing very loudly .... "all creetles great and small". He didn't know the word "creatures" but he did know "beetles". We had this at my mum's funeral because she always loved the song and also because she was a very small 'creature' herself ....4' 7" when she died!
Willow wilson 891
You're right CT, you have the memory of it. You've got to admit though he would make a good Max Bygraves impersonator.

DJ360 6,712
Flippin 'eck! Where do I start? Flanders and Swan were as clever with their chatter as their songs.: Linden Lea has been a favourite of mine forever. Mr Sandman by the Chordettes has to be the best bit of harmony singing ever. One I liked in primary school was The Raggle Taggle Gypsies. Not sure I imagined it quite like this though... Sally Gardens? I have a rather nice verson by Clannad. But this one in it's own way is as good.. if not better. And finally, YouTube won't let me link to the best one of all. When You Wish Upon a Star... from Disney's Pinnochio When you wish upon a star your dreams come true....... Col
