My brother was in a FFGS production of Mikado there.

Everything smoothly and professionally done.

It seems like the Cooperative Arts centre served us well in those days.

My favourite from school was,............''All things bright and beautiful''

             All creatures great and small'

             each little flower that opens,

             each little bird that sings

              he made their tiny wings

All things bright and beautiful,,,,,,the Lord God made them all................................

I used to take our children to a 'pram service' at a local Anglican Church when they were very small and they learnt to sing this, but I will always remember one of them getting the words wrong by singing very loudly  .... "all creetles great and small". He didn't know the word "creatures" but he did know "beetles".

We had this at my mum's funeral because she always loved the song and also because she was a very small 'creature' herself ....4' 7" when she died!

Flippin 'eck!  Where do I start?

Flanders and Swan were as clever with their chatter as their songs.:

Linden Lea has been a favourite of mine forever.

Mr Sandman by the Chordettes has to be the best bit of harmony singing ever.

One I liked in primary school was The Raggle Taggle Gypsies. Not sure I imagined it quite like this though...

Sally Gardens?  I have a rather nice verson by Clannad.

But this one in it's own way is as good.. if not better.

And finally, YouTube won't let me link to the best one of all.

When You Wish Upon a Star...  from  Disney's Pinnochio

When you wish upon a star your dreams come true.......

Wow!   When I started this I never expected such a response.  It has brought back some great memories and even the odd tear.  As Ben said, this could go for years.  The more you think of the more come to mind.  Thanks for all the responses.
