Congratulations on replying to a post which was over 10 years old. That's a new record.

I've been thinking about this for the past two years, since my last post? No the pub with the cowboy theme was not on the south side of the Vic Centre under the pedestrian bridge. That was the New M

It could be Fothergills, or what about the Gregory ? Or there again RR has led us to believe it has something to do with Grapes .....

Now that was a great pub Paul,The Vine.

Looks like a window has been bricked up? There was a boozer on Radford rd opposite Patterson rd.

If hippo wears those boots...drinks on me all night!

Windows often boarded up in the 60s,very formidable land lady back then,............thought i'd covered the bleddy great boil on me nose with me Mams Mascara,went in there stood under a 150 watt light bulb at the bar.............'bloody cracker that' she said,put me right off trying to pull that night........lol.
