philmayfield 6,125
Oh no I won’t. I’m going to bed an hour earlier. The buggers can’t rob me.

loppylugs 8,429
We did that two weeks ago. It's still like gerrin up in the middle of the night. IMHO a pointless and useless practice that should have been dropped years ago.
plantfit 7,592
You could say she's got plenty of time Rog
philmayfield 6,125
The British Horological Institute Museum at Upton near Southwell is open today and tomorrow. If you’re into clocks etc it’s worth a visit. Always open on the weekends when the clocks alter.

catfan 14,793
Gradually over a period of time I replaced all the time pieces in our house except the wrist watches to radio controlled clocks, go to bed tonight & wake up to all the clocks spot on ! Putting clocks forward or backward is so last century !
PeverilPeril 3,281
We are in France at the mo and get home on Mon, so we could just leave out watches as they are. Problem is that we are likely to forget and then miss the ferry
LizzieM 9,507
What a great idea Catfan. It’s my job to alter all the clocks and twice a year, plus any power cuts, I have to get the oven and microwave instruction book out, I can never remember how to do it! I’m hoping the new car clock is radio controlled (doubtful) or that book will have to come out too. EDITED TO ADD I don’t worry about changing the clock in my car, I wait til it goes for a service and they do it for me!
Waddo 921
Anyone know why we still keep altering the clocks?, always seemed to be pointless, but maybe that's just me!!
FLY2 10,108
Me too ! I'll just stay in bed an hour longer.
