The British Horological Institute Museum at Upton near Southwell is open today and tomorrow. If you’re into clocks etc it’s worth a visit. Always open on the weekends when the  clocks alter.

Do you have to turn up early in winter and late in spring?

Gradually over a period of time I replaced all the time pieces in our house except the wrist watches to radio controlled clocks, go to bed tonight & wake up to all the clocks spot on !

Putting clocks forward or backward is so last century !

What a great idea Catfan.  It’s my job to alter all the clocks and twice a year, plus any power cuts, I have to get the oven and microwave instruction book out, I can never remember how to do it!   I’m hoping the new car clock is radio controlled (doubtful) or that book will have to come out too.

EDITED TO ADD

I don’t worry about changing the clock in my car, I wait til it goes for a service and they do it for me!

Anyone know why we still keep altering the clocks?, always seemed to be  pointless, but maybe that's just me!!
