SK53 16
OSM-Nottingham shows the locations of the boundary posts of which we (local OpenStreetMappers) are aware: http://osm-nottingham.org.uk/?z=12&lon=-1.20918&lat=52.96580&bgl=OSM,1,15&l=markersposts. This should, in practice, be most of them because they are now generally listed by Historic England (which may be noted if you click on the dots on the map).

That boundary marker served as a protection point for NCT buses prior to deregualtion in '86 when the bus free for all started ! That was right next to Bell’s Terminus Garage. I was at Mellish with his son Alan. He lived next door but just over the County Boundary in Hucknall. It was very convenient for him to pop home for lunch rather than having to suffer the dreadful school meals!
jonab 1,644
I remember often getting the 44 to the terminus when I lived in Hucknall and had missed the last Trent bus home. I walked the final third or so of the journey.
