Reading about our Ben and sheds I thought it would be an idea to have a seperate topic related to sheds, don't think one has been done before but sorry if it has, anyroad, what do you get upto in the shed,(ladies and gents) is your shed a worshop,a place to relax and put your feet up, a place to escape the rigours of life or is it just a wooden building in your garden where you keep spiders and other creepy crawlies?

Here's a project I got upto in the summer while I was waiting for some spare parts for another project, this is an old Sufflok iron foundary engine as found on Qualcast and similar lawnmowers, it had not worked for years so I took it all to pieces as us men do, cleaned it up, painted it and re built it, mounted it on a nice piece of varnished wood, put some petrol in the tank and it fired up, a lovely little toy and all the work done in my shed (which is a tip by the way)

Its getting closer cliff ton,,been a bit down last couple of days,,but today had meetings with two brilliant specialists in speech therapy,,in short my voice is now coming on a treat,,still get tired

Well I said I'd send a picture of my shed / Doghouse earlier today.   I'm really rusty on post image, but hope this works.         Ignore the date

Yes, a shed is certainly necessary for us blokes. If you just want a bit of peace and solitude, perhaps a quiet read of the paper, a nice cuppa or even a beer or two, a shed is a great place to send t

I used to keep chickens. This was my chicken shed. These days it is a humble, garden tool store.

To be honest I am ashamed of the state of my sheds, they seem to be overrun with useful (to me) stuff,to the untrained eye they are full of rubbish.

This is the shed I keep the trike in,just enough room for it to fit down the middle,

This one is the garden equipment shed, lawn mowers (2) pressure washer (1), toolboxes with tools (2), portable gas fire (1 but there is  another one stored in the front conservatory), cine projectors (2) don't know why, never used them never will, drain rods and various ends (2) fuel cans (5) golf balls (2 carrier bags full) don't know why, never played golf, never will, golf clubs and bag (1)

As if thats not bad enough there is a bit of overspill storage in the green house

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get rid of everything I dont use,the garden tools shed is about to be replaced with a new one in the near future.

I know, I'm a junk hoarder, don't let Mrs P know

Don't clear out those sheds, I had to do it to mine and the garage, now I am having to buy things that I had saved for years never used and now need. I only cleared them out because of the gently reminders from the wife, she doesn't nag, she tells me she gives "quality advice constantly".

PF I would love another shed , a larger one with electricity carpet and a chair, but I have than feeling that someone would put a bed and wardrobe in there and take my house keys off me.
