Its getting closer cliff ton,,been a bit down last couple of days,,but today had meetings with two brilliant specialists in speech therapy,,in short my voice is now coming on a treat,,still get tired

Well I said I'd send a picture of my shed / Doghouse earlier today.   I'm really rusty on post image, but hope this works.         Ignore the date

Yes, a shed is certainly necessary for us blokes. If you just want a bit of peace and solitude, perhaps a quiet read of the paper, a nice cuppa or even a beer or two, a shed is a great place to send t

This is the shed I keep the trike in,just enough room for it to fit down the middle,

Back home from hols now and at last I have WIFI again. I have missed so many posts during the last two weeks, with WIFI going off and on. This Sheds thread is so funny, you lot have started my day off with laughter. I never thought 'Sheds' could be so interesting, but you Nottstalgians have managed it. Great stuff.

Plantfit, your shed is identical to our garage, attached to the side of the house. The only difference is the space where your trike fits is where our cycles manage to fit in.The two sheds at the bottom of the garden are equally as organised. One with garden tools and tuther with garden furniture.

Benj, I can't wait for your shed story. So happy to read your recovery is going well. You are  doing OK miduck.

Notice how the trike is a nice snug fit in my shed,a thing of beauty waiting to emerge from the chaos of clutter, just like a butterfly changing from chrysalis

Oh, I've just come over all poetic  thumbsup

I don't have a shed.  Just a very crammed and untidy garage.  I am thinking of getting a shed.  Rather like this chap:

I put the weathrproof clock on it because I can see it from my veggie garden.  Saves me wearing a watch.

Edited to add:  Mrs L reminded me that she made the Doghouse sign.  I'd already forgotten.  probably be spending a bit of time in there today.

Our shed was originally to hold all the workings of the pool but instead it now houses 2 sets of tyres various tools inside the 2 cupboards, a huge boiling pot ( for preserves) the sun beds and the Dolphin. My husband doesn't possess many tools only the necessary. But give him a knife and a frying pan and we get them tucked in everywhere. I think we have every contraption and utensil under the sun in MY kitchen.

We’ve got two sheds, one houses the petrol lawnmower, all the other garden tools and a few large cardboard boxes supplied by Pickfords when we moved here 14 years ago, they’re all full of something but we’ve never opened them to find out what treasures we’d forgotten about!  The other houses a workbench, a compressor,  lots of tools, wild bird food, fish food and a bike that’s not been ridden for about 20 years.  The garage is overflowing with almost empty paint cans, two very large paintings hanging on the wall because I don’t want them in the house anymore, a chandelier hanging from the ceiling ...... yes! and enough wood to build a house with. What is it about men and bits of wood?  There’s just enough room to get my car in there.   If we move home I can envisage a couple of skips in the driveway.

Are you banished there to cook your own dinner?

I like my chips cooked in dripping but Nora Batty (Mrs Compo) doesn't like the smell of hot dripping....so I have to cook my chips in the shed.  Once cooked, I am allowed to eat them indoors though.
