I wonder what all the members of Pickettywitch are doing these days ?

One day, one of them will be trawling around the internet and Google will lead them to this thread; then Ben will get to meet his heroes.

Polly Brown went on to form a duo called Sweet Dreams with a chap called Tony Jackson.

One result was this photograph... Since this appeared before I'd ever heard the term 'cultural appropriation'.. I'll err on the side of charity and just ask 'what was she thinking?'

We watched Eurovision to the very end.  I like the Sam Ryder song and also the Ukrainian one.  There were generally too many strobe effects in the programme though - sometimes I had to turn away and just listen.

We recorded Britain’s got talent because we like it!

Bk

We all have a bench, a tree, a street

Where we cherished our dreams.

We all have a bench a tree a street

A childhood that has been too short.

One day or another We have to leave

To build a future, a future

And it's the unforgettable instant

When we return our child clothes.

Everyone goes, filled with hope

On the road that they chose, that they chose

To the richness or to the glory

Yet what our life will be, our life.

We all have a bench a tree a street

Where we cherished our dreams

We all have a bench a tree a street

A childhood that has been too short

Every one in his corner of the horizon

Only defends their ambitions their ambitions

But if we share nothing

What will be left for us in common, in common

We all have a bench, a tree, a street

Where we cherished our dreams

We all have a bench, a tree, a street

A childhood that has been too short.

(English doesn't do it justice)

@Willow wilsonBeautiful and nostalgic words - perhaps a little sad?  I wonder who on here has  fulfilled their childhood dreams in

part or even in full!

Mine were very simple when I used to daydream in my garden at home - to meet a nice boy, get married, have 3 children and a happy life.   I think it’s mostly been fulfilled but in a deeper way than I ever thought possible

I've fulfilled my childhood dreams. I wanted cats, I wanted to teach, I wanted to do exactly as I wished without anyone else interfering. I've managed all that, even the last one once I escaped The Manning.  I can't include wanting to be happy and at peace, because I always have been.
