Stavertongirl 1,719
Seen on news that Nantes are threatening to take legal action if Cardiff City dont pay transfer fee. Doesn’t seem right somehow and totally wrong time to do this as a body has just been recovered from the plane.

Stavertongirl 1,719
Seems so. Could be a bit of a legal conundrum though, can see barristers/solicitors rubbing their hands in glee.

Well Salas would have been on the club’s insurance as soon as the transfer was completed so there is a possible claim there. However there was obvious negligence on the part of the pilot in not having a commercial licence to carry out the flight. As you say this throws up a host of legal implications and it will be interesting to see how it pans out. It won’t be a rapid solution and as ever the real winners will be legal guys.
