Glad to say my belief is still healthy...a great 'modern Easter' song.

With LDP on handclaps and backing vocals.

However, I suspect that most rational and reasonable people accept the need for Law and don't fear it so much as respect it.

We are taught to respect the law.............. or else!   Fear drives the respect. We make political choices by discrimination because we basically fear what effect your opponent will have on society.  Religion... where do you start there. Fear of eternal damnation or public beheading spring to mind.

Then there are cats! we fear leaving them for long periods else they will crap in the kitchen and tear up the curtains...    ;)

It's a topic everyone likes to .... purrsue.. There may even be a claws in the furum rules that says cats must be mentioned at least once a day...   I may have gone a whisker over the top with this post though

Yes I'm just watching it. Looks like the roof has completely gone. How sad, hope they get all the valuables out in time.

What a lot of damage in just One and a half hours, frightening.

Work person if you please!

So very sad to see such a wonderful building go up in smoke.  It’s been many years since I went in there but at least I had the opportunity.

Sorry Lizzie, did think of it when I posted. A workman or woman or a non binary, intermediate, indeterminate, unsure, unwashed, sick, lame or just lazy may have or may not have instigated a conflagration but without admitting liability or prejudicing his/hers/its/their human rights might be willing to say sorry.    lips0

It's a loss of international significance.  Very sad.  I last walked past Notre Dame in 1967.  I'd been thinking of going to Paris for a few days soon.
