Cliff Ton 10,465
Sad news. I watched Python from the very early days. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-51209197
LizzieM 9,507
In 2014 I was fortunate to be invited to see ‘Monty Python Live’ at the O2 Arena, a show that was meant to be a one-off but which ended up being a run of 10 shows. What a brilliant and great night of entertainment. All the original Pythons were on stage except Graham Chapman who’d passed away several years earlier. I believe this was the last time Terry Jones was able to join his friends, before he became ill. Unforgettable.
Oztalgian 3,292
Quite a fiery Welshman apparently and as John Cleese said "two down four to go" The immortal and ground breaking Life of Brian will be an enduring reminder of his brilliance
letsavagoo 963
About 1971 or 2 I went to Nottingham University where the Monty Python crew performed a stage show. I remember the parrot sketch but little else due to the ‘refreshments’ I’d taken.
