Yes i know it's a bit of a thread drift, nowt new, but it seems about right,being as assorted vehicles have been mentioned.. Anyway, isn't it remarkable that today, we have 'works ' transit vans with more gizmos than you got in a Rolls Royce 30years ago!!. But to counter that, if you have the slightest bump in a modern day vehicle, it's written off!!. Whereas 30years ago, you could knock trees down (metaphorically speaking) and still drive home!!

It certainly had a starting handle. I sold it to a butcher in Coddington but the registration, FBT 20, survives to this day on a modern car. Looking at the original logbook it had been owned by just about every member of the RAF! I resprayed in Rolls Royce metallic blue, my first and only attempt at a respray. It was rather good though!
