Billy24 0
I grew up in the Carrington area and have vague recollections of friends and neighbours from my childhood. How can I access Kelly's directories from 1955 to 1962. I'm classed as vulnerable during the current pandemic so even if libraries were open I wouldn't be able to visit one. Are there online versions available? Many thanks Mick
Cliff Ton 10,435
Welcome Billy24. As far as I'm aware, the only way you'd normally be able to access trade directories is by a personal visit to a library. There are a few old directories (circa 1900) available online, but not for the years you mention.
HSR 286
Hi Billy24, been a few years but you could access some trade directories on the Ancestry website, found things relative to me 1840 to 1890, always struggled with things online 1930 plus...
