letsavagoo 956
Found this image. You can zoom in. I think it’s excellent. https://uppercutproductions.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/NottinghamSnow/index.html?fbclid=IwAR14aNbpCQYYo5vMNkT5jIVSHGfoDnab-FcLpohvIv2BrsBlrsIFfQaHCXc
Beekay 5,094
Don't know what equipment was used to take the above Lets, but it's brilliant, even when you zoom in the detail is astounding. Many thanks for posting it.

Oztalgian 3,217
Brilliant, having not been to Nottingham for many years I have to admit that I had to find Slab Square before I could orient myself as the skyline and buildings have changed so much.
jonab 1,644
I had to locate the Newton building in order to orientate myself. It was much easier after that.
Stuart.C 483
Looks like they used this "little" Drone and camera. And centred on the Albert Ball statue in the Castle grounds. http://uppercutproductions.co.uk/ Captured by their own Drone.
Tim in the North East 200
That is one amazing photo. Great to see some familiar landmarks amongst all the change since I left Nottingham in 1973!
letsavagoo 956
It is very clever. If you look at Eastcrofts chimney you can see slight distortion so I assume it’s a number of high res photos stitched together. I’m very impressed. I wonder if they’re ex council. 2 working, 4 watching.
Beekay 5,094
That's a fair old size drone they're working on. I wonder how much one like would cost. It looks like it could lift a medium sized dog. (Not that I would, you understand)
The Engineer 612
Their website mentions a newly acquired Alto 8 drone (I think that's the one they are poring over). A quick web search suggests that it has a payload of 20lb, flight time of 35 minutes and costs and eye-watering £17,751 inc. VAT. Also says they use a Canon DSLR at 50 megapixels. Stuart.C 483
I was just going to order one of them Drones, but fortunately it's out of stock, That looks like the Drone only, so plus controller and gimbal to mount the camera on plus camera of course https://cvp.com/product/freefly_alta_8
