Ayup Fnorman and welcome along to "This happy breed"

The "Parrot" in question was a "Sulpher Crested Cockatoo" called (Funnily enough) "Cocky" . He died some time in the late 60's/ early 70's and is buried in the aviary at the "Arbouretum" I remember seeing him but I was very young at the time.

I was just trying to find a picture of "Cocky's " grave for you and entered "nottm arbouretum, cocky" into my search engine. Believe it or not the second entry was this !!

Pay attention at the back ..........we covered this about 3 weeks ago.

Its the Whitehall factory , corner of Wollaton St. that burnt down and was eventually replaced by the Gaumont
