Inaugural Nottinghamshire Day 25 August

Recommended Posts

Don't know much about it but they are holding an inaugural Nottinghamshire Day next Wednesday at County Hall to celebrate our Historic County, its heritage and culture.  Flag raising ceremony at 11:30am.

Headed up by Councillor Mike Quigley MBE (Chairman of the County Council) and Sir John Peace (Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire)

The Nottinghamshire flag is a white- fimbriated symmetrical red cross on a green field with a white shield charged with a green silhouette of James Woodford’s bronze statue of Robin Hood.

You didn’t expect that did you!

Nothing you do surprises me Phil, I raise me hat to you. Gotta admit though, it looks more like a Home Breweries advert. I've got a coat of arms too !

We all have a coat of arms...

Google  'The Brew coat of arms' - but use your name obviously.
