philmayfield 6,089
I’m just reading that Prince Charles’s Aston Martin runs on wine and cheese. Oh to be a member of the upper classes!
Jill Sparrow 10,267
White wine. Can't think of a better use for it. Red wine, now that would be sacrilege!
philmayfield 6,089
Not the finest Colston Basset Stilton either. Maybe Edam. I never thought the DB of Aston Martin stood for ‘daft bugger’
PeverilPeril 3,268
I cleaned out the chicken run yesterday. Phew!!b what a whiff I'm thinking about fermenting it and running my 17 y/o banger on the distillate. How about that for an example of the class divide? HRH's Aston running on cheese and wine and PP's ancient X-trail running on chicken shit.
philmayfield 6,089
A chap in nearby Morton used to run his car on pigshit. Not exactly shovelled into the tank, I think he processed it first.

Brew 5,377
We lived next to a farm when first married and the farmer and I tried running an old Ford 100e engine on methane from the slurry pond and although it was err... interesting it was not exactly a success... Oztalgian 3,217
I did hear that an ice cream van ran the generator for the freezer on reclaimed chip shop oil, you could always tell when he was around because of the flock of seagulls following him.
