I’ve just seen the postman after yesterday’s fiasco. I was sorry I couldn’t diagnose the fault but then neither could the RAC. He was towed back to the depot and the Peugeot van is having the faulty electronics sorted. Modern cars are a pain when they go wrong and who in their right mind would have a French vehicle anyway!!

If my grandsons experience as an ambulance driver is anything to go by, the ambulance service are not at all happy with Peugeot.

Surprised Royal Mail are using the RAC if they’re getting that level of service. When I had a mishap with my Sainsburys Mercedes van, they called out Crouch Recovery (as seen on Trucking Hell on TV), who was there within an hour and loaded it on their flatbed. Twenty minutes later, I was back at the store.

I think with the inclement weather they were overloaded with call outs. They did keep texting him updates. It wasn’t very satisfactory though. When I had an F Type, Jaguar assistance were always very quick but that was with the AA. I had so many call outs though I was on first name terms with the AA men!
