Beduth 202 Posted January 20, 2022 Report Share Posted January 20, 2022 I've found amongst Dad's souvenirs a one inch silver medallion, awarded by N.S.C.A. with his name and date 1926 on the reverse. He was a 12 year old boy at Southwark Street School, Old Basford. He was dead keen on cricket (and very good too). So does anyone know what the abbreviations stand for please? Nottingham Schools ??? Nottingham Sports ??? NB. Dad told me that he and Mam walked at 3:00 am from Old Basford too Midland Station in 1933 to welcome home Harold Larwood (Along with hundreds of other supporters) on his return from the 'Bodyliners Test' in Australia. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
