I am seriously thinking of digging out my runner and French beans which have been plastered continuously by them for about 4 weeks now. They are attacking every part of the plant, including the flowers so not much chance of repeat cropping. All of us at the allotment have tried different things to get rid of them but they are as bad again after a couple of days. I have managed to stop greenfly on my roses by interplanting with marigolds. Maybe I will try them round the beans next year. Good job I have lots in my freezer from last year.
