philmayfield 6,115
I see Prince Edward's been given the title. I've been passed over once again. Perhaps I'm just too common. Keep it in the family eh.
Beekay 5,134
You'll always be a Prince in my eyes Phil.
Jill Sparrow 10,304
I'm wondering who's going to be the next Duke of Windsor? A title with a rather unprepossessing history.
philmayfield 6,115
That's very kind of you BK. I'll see if I can get a coronation mug for you.
Beekay 5,134
Remember my surname Phil. I had the title long before Charles inherited it. Talking of coronation gifts, when Elizabeth was crowned we boys all got propelling pencils and the girls got lace handkerchiefs. Within 20 minutes I'd swapped mine for a little brass sword. Oztalgian 3,271
This is the only Duke of Edinburgh I am interested in. It forms part of a group of historical steam and other engines that operate the Steam Ranger, Southern Encounter and Cockle Train. They operate the heritage railway from Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills to Goolwa at the mouth of the mighty River Murray and on to Victor Harbor on the south coast of South Australia.
