Izal toilet paper, like 1000 grade wet and dry sanding paper so beloved of school toilets!

In the Army the toilet paper in 24 hour ration packs was christened skid & grip, one side smooth the other rough. Ordinary toilet paper was comfy bum......always carried a supply

  • 4 weeks later...

We’ve just received a letter from Newark and Sherwood District Council saying they’re going to supply us with a wheelie bin for glass. It will be smaller than the standard bin and will be collected every 8 weeks!! OK for the Methodists and teetotallers I suppose but what are the proper drinkers going to do? I suppose it would be considered cheeky to ask for two bins and a fortnightly collection!

  • Cliff Ton changed the title to Recycling

You're going to need the bottles for the medlar wine, Phil, and when you've finished drinking it, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that you've acquired another recycle bin.  What Thomas Hardy's Joseph Poorgrass termed the 'multiplying eye' !
