The one you show in your picture Rog., in no way should be classed as a Mobility scooter. It is more like a utility pickup or small estate car. Machines like these should never be allowed on pavements and should be licenced and insured. I believe road version are supposed to have registration plates, as they are mechanically propelled vehicles. My missus' machine is nowhere near that size.

I see the trike in your picture has a crash helmet with it. It looks more like a Hell Angel bike. The rest all look like Chelsea tractors. You could tow some caravans with those buggers.

Police have named the officer that fired the Taser as Senior Constable Kristian White aged 33. He was charged with recklessly causing grevious bodily harm, assault occassioning actual bodily harm and common assault. These charges may now be upgraded following Clare's death. The officer concerned is facing a maximum penalty of ten years based on the current charges. No news as yet on upgrading the charges. There are significant concerns about the transparency of the internal police investigation. The leader of the opposition in NSW supported by the Greens moved a motion in parliament to call for the release of the body cam footage. The government (Labour) sided with the One Nation party to strike wording about releasing the footage from the motion.

Nobody will accept responsibility for their own actions these days and accountability is a thing of the past. Many people in positions of authority are not up to the job but have the knack of diverting attention to their shortcomings by talking a lot of gobbledegook. When they are found to be lacking they should be outed immediately as liars and con artists.

If you remember the case where a police officer tasered 95 year old Clare Nolan who fell, hit her head and had a bleed on the brain. Sadly she subsequently died of her injuries.

The police officer Kristian White aged 33 has today been charged with manslaughter. He has formally pleaded not guilty and been released on bail until his trial is heard on 11th November, later this year
