zachariah 2
Does anyone know what happened to the statue of Sir Robert Clifton which stood between the toll bridge and the old pumping station on the Madows side of Victoria Embankment? The statue can just be seen in the background of this picture
zachariah 2
Looking on google maps uk sattelite view I have now managed to locate Sir Robert Clifton's statue. It's where it always was, right at the side of the old toll bridge. I don't know why but I thought it had been moved when the Meadows was demolished. On another note Zacsmum has been offline whilst she moved from Chapel St Leonards. She has now settled in Blackwell and should be back online soon. mick2me 3,033
Thanks for that update Zac, I am surprised that the original post did not get a response? I was away in Florida at the time of your post. And we look forward to the return of Zacsmum. Cheers
