My mum wrote a note to the teacher to say that I was not to have the school milk. They stood over us to make us drink it. It was either warm or ice cold and the smell of it made me feel sick, especially if you got some on your fingers. I could not drink it. I still could not drink a glass of milk and I have tea and coffee black! Not having it has done me no harm. I have never broken a bone and my teeth are fine. Our son drinks lots of milk, by choice, cold from the fridge. So much better than cola as a soft drink. He does have a bottle of Hobgoblin in the fridge too! I am so glad milk was not forced on him as it was on me.
